Dr. Host Lobbies Congressional Delegates About SB 1989

This month, I was one of about 20 physicians practicing in the DPC model who lobbied our Congress to pass SB 1989. This bill will make it possible to use your HSA account to pay for DPC monthly fees without penalty from the IRS. The bill would also allow for Medicare patients to have their DPC fee paid by Medicare. If you think this bill is important and should pass, contact your Senators (in Ohio--Sherrod Brown and Rob Portman) and your House Representatives.
